No filter needed! Clinic rolls out fat-zapping treatment to help women look good on SNAPCHAT (and it’s already a hit with millennials)
Aesthetic therapist Cath Taylor from The ME Clinic told MailOnline FEMAIL: ‘We’ve seen a rise in patients seeking non surgical skin rejuvenation and body contouring treatments, especially Lipofirm Pro, this year and many tell us that social media plays a big part in their decision.’
She added: ‘Popular treatments include skin tightening, bum lifts and non invasive fat reduction. Natural looking results and quick treatment times make this a popular cosmetic choice at our clinic.’
Independent plastic surgeon Mr Gary Ross, based in Manchester, commented: ‘There’s definitely a link between photo-led social media and patients seeking aesthetic treatments.
‘It’s important that patients consider the pros and cons of undergoing any cosmetic treatment, and both surgical and non surgical procedures should not be trivialised.’
Costing £150 a session, the new treatment package from The ME Clinic combines Lipofirm body contouring, TriLipo Radiofrequency and Dynamic Muscle Activation (DMA) skin tightening technology for the first time.
Lipofirm Pro is a non-surgical treatment loved by celebrities including Kerry Katona and Katie Price, and offers quick, safe and simple skin firming and body contouring designed to offer subtle reshaping results.
TriLipo uses a triple action mechanism to release fat using radiofrequency energy which heats the fat cells and causes them to secrete liquid fat. It then removes the released fat using a lymphatic drainage mechanism DMA (Dynamic Muscle Activation) which also contracts the muscle, before reshaping the skin.
Lisa Harris from Lisa Harris Skin Science said: ‘The solid science behind this technology is what sets it apart.
‘Younger looking skin for the face and body definitely improves their overall wellbeing and how clients see themselves generally.’
